Great, Push was a great product.

I'll be linking to this from my blog to encourage players to read it. The issue of "is it the group's story" or "is the stories of the different characters" is something that resonates in any traditional RPG played campaign style.

The pressure on a GM to somehow "weave it all" and "ration spotlight" is one of the worse aspects of this style of play, and the article's emphasis on Player responsibilities is great.

Jonathan,

I recommend adding Thugs & Thieevs by Ethan Greer. There is a now defunct forum on The Forge for the game with actual play posts (http://www.indie-rpgs.com/forum/index.php?board=42.0) here. I've run it three times and enjoyed the hell out of it each time. It's not cutting edge, but it's got great personality:

That's really cool, Jonathan. I loved Push 1, so whatever form future versions take, I'll be along for the ride.

You have to tell me when these things happen!
I only stumbled across this (delightful) interview 'cause I'm trying to hunt down news from you about Gen Con.
Speaking of which: how's that going?

A few days ago, Jonathan posted an interview with Madeline over at Bleeding Play. She’s writing an article for Push 2 about online freeform roleplay, and the interview is pretty interesting—about which more in a bit.

Thanks for the link and your continued patience on the article, Jonathan. Rest assured I'm saving some good stuff back from the blog posts for PUSH.

How is the RAND post related to your day job?

Very cool interview :) Made me want to run a forum game and invite people to be fans. Perhaps some rules for how fans interact with players? Perhaps players can also be fans? Anyhow, interesting read!

For others who, like me, had never heard of One Big Happy Weasley Family before: http://sunlit-days.net/onlyyou/OBHWF.php
